Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities
Port Huron Museums are always looking for volunteers. With them, we simply could not function. All of our sites are accepting docents who are on the front lines, giving tours and answering questions to the thousands of visitors we receive a year. At the Light Station, we also have a number of positions in our Museum store, answering questions, selling tickets, books and souvenirs to finance the restoration and preservation of the oldest Lighthouse in Michigan.
We also have a role for volunteers behind the scenes. With tens of thousands of artifacts in our collection, the Museum is constantly inventorying and cataloging these historical treasures. We are also always looking for those who like to write, or are handy with a hammer. There is a project and role for every volunteer at Port Huron Museums. We seek to place you in a role where you can do the most good and have a good time doing it!
Volunteer training is provided for all of our roles at all of our sites. Why wait? Contact us today!
