Have you ever wanted to work behind the scenes at a Museum? GO on a real life Treasure Hunt? This is your chance! Between January 20th and February 7th, Port Huron Museums will be going through our entire collection at the Carnegie Center, in order to inventory and catalog the collection. We will need your help to do it! The tens of thousands of items will be processed into a computer database so we have a better idea of gaps and redundancies in our collection, as well as getting each item a brand new bar-code for easy tracking! We will also be cleaning exhibit spaces, and creating new labels for all artifacts on display. There is something for everyone to do, and any help would be greatly appreciated!
