Debra McNair – Involved with theater for close to 40 years, Debra McNair has a passion for fostering talent and increasing diversity in the Port Huron theater community. She is the founder of New Beginnings Theatre, a company focused on positive messages and Christianity.

Dr. Asha Tyson – At 17, Asha Tyson, a Detroit native, faced homelessness. Hers is a journey of resilience and transformation. She has since risen to become a national bestselling author of “How I Retired at 26! an award-winning speaker and the founder of a business consulting firm dedicated to helping corporate professionals make an impact and an income using their own life stories and skill sets.

The idea for her viral art piece, It Takes a Village, was created from a thought concept introduced in her book: “How I Retired at 26!” and has garnered widespread acclaim. The author/artist poses the question: “If it takes a village to raise a child, what is a child to do when the village is asleep?” This contribution further solidifies her reputation as a thought leader and visionary.
