Bina West Miller was a St. Clair County resident in the late 19th and early 20th century, an active advocate in the women’s suffrage movement, and founded Woman’s Benefit Association, known today as Woman’s Life, one of the first organizations to offer life insurance protection to women. Find out about the life and work of Bina West Miller, what drove her to push for women’s life insurance, as well as the right to vote, and why it was such an important movement.
