FUNBIKZ a Port Huron Museum bicycle rental service, has returned to the Thomas Edison Depot Museum. Bring the whole family for a fun summer outing and explore Port Huron on one of our cruisers (adult or child) or 2 or 4 person surrey. Rent for an hour, or an entire day, for a new way to visit the Fort Gratiot Light Station, Huron Lightship and Thomas Edison Depot Museum. Explore the many Port Huron area attractions and interesting neighborhoods that reveal Port Huron’s rich history relating to the early shipbuilding and lumber industries. See the 1886 Harrington Inn, the 1904 Carnegie Center, or other historical significant buildings from the 1880’s to the 1960’s.Ask for a brochure which outlines many architecturally significant historical and contemporary gems in the Blue Water Area. You can plan your own self-guided tour through local history.
Don’t forget to travel the new Blue Water River Walk starting at the mouth of the Black River, extending one mile south along the St. Clair River. The St. Clair River is one of the busiest routes for large ocean-going vessels from around the world. It is impressive, seeing these large vessels up-close as they go by.
